WTN: Rather be a heimer than a nail

2006 Gysler Weinheimer Riesling Kabinett (Germany, Rheinhessen)
Showed a little bit hard-edged last night. There's still plenty of sweet, primary, peachy fruit, and the spice of the 2006 vintage is right there. On the back end it has a rather pronounced bitterness, whether from the grape skins or some botrytis element I am not sure. Odd showing though.
