Had the Dubeouf '08 Jean Descombs Morgon a few weeks ago and was impressed at its evolution. Tried again tonight with a fried chicken Caesar's salad and it was spot on. You might want to give your '09 Cru Beaujolais about a year or so in the bottle before opening. Also had the Rene Colin '06 Bourgogne Rouge which was just what you would want with a lunch of braised rabbit. The rabbit actually made the wine taste like a Beaujolais, first time I have experienced that. Someone said that Beaujolais was the recommended wine with the rabbit, after I noticed the suggestion of a Beaujolais after tasting the rabbit. Either would be a very nice pairing. And the '07 Sauvion Chinon is drinking nicely, with the characteristic green-bean element (softens considerably with some air) that is so identifiable.
