I have been trying to get John Schreiners book, The wineries of British Columbia, thru inter-library loan without success. I see it is available from Amazon but is it worth owning? They also offer a book by Janice Elaine Walker on B.C. wines but for $180 I'll pass. Maybe some day the wines of British Columbia will make it to Ohio but I'm not holding my breath. It may be pleasant reading however.
Thanks for the heads up on John Schreiner. He seems to produce a book on BC wines every year. I am going to Okanagen in September so his 2010 Okanagan Wine Tour Guide might be useful.
I have one of John Schreiner's books on BC wineries. I think it is the one called Okanagan Wine Tour Guide. I can bring it to MoCool if you want to borrow it, just let me know. I found it had good descriptions of the wineries and the people who run them, but did not have as much information on the wines as I would have liked.
