WTN: Famiglia Bianchi Chardonnay 2010

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Jun 17, 2011 8:15 am

Mendoza

Light yellow, with green tints, in the glass.

Vanilla, smoky on the nose.

Medium weight, tangy green apple, lemon, smoky, vanilla, caramel, good acidity, toasty, rich.

Mouthwatering, lemon, green apple, tangy, toasty on the rather long finish.

I am usually not a fan of oaked wines, but this one has everything in balance and is rather tasty.

Purchased at $12.95 (Canadian) and good QPR.

It's drinking stuff like this that can make you a bad person, not holding doors open for women, etc... Thanks for taking one for the team. I personally will stay away from this one, but I am sure others will enjoy it. Thanks for being such a loyal and excellent poster of tasting notes!!!! :D
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
