This is rounding out a little bit after being an angry wine on release. The tree fruit elements have come more to the fore, pushing the aggressive acidity back just enough to make te wine enjoyable as an aperitif, as well as a dinner wine. The sweetness is just barely noticeable, so don't pair this with anything aggressively spicy or too sweet, but open it for the pork loin/roast chicken type dinners.

I take it this is the 08?

Sounds good. Though I've been buying a bit less of AJ Adam's wines given the shifts in pricing lately.

Thank you for the note. I actually enjoyed this wine quite a bit last year, and am glad that you liked it more than you did back then. Have to agree with Salil, though, about Adam's prices, especially when the 09 Kabinett is going for $30+ over here.
