A recent purchase (about $18) from Chambers.
This is drinking wonderfully now. There's a beautiful scent not unlike an older Bordeaux combining cigar smoke, savoury earth, fresh herbs and restrained red fruit; it's a little thin in the mouth at first but gains weight and depth with air, showing savoury fruit, earth and tobacco with tannins fully resolved and bright acids keeping it lively and fresh. A beautiful, mature wine that's great to drink while I try and keep my hands off my Baudrys/Bretons for some time, and the price makes it one of the best values I've seen in a long time.
