OK. Sorry. I had to tell someone. Of course we are thrilled. We have won lots of awards in the CA State Fair, but it has been a little while since we got a nice one like this.

Me and my wife Rosie will be pouring at the California State Fair Awards Ceremony, (Golden Bear Stage Area) on Friday, July 29th, 2011, 2 pm to 7 pm. In Sacramento, of course.

Congratulations! I make bubblies at home and can appreciate a good one. What is the cuvee?

Wow, major congratulations. Double gold, if anyone here doesn't know, means that all judges on the panel who tasted your wine each gave it their highest score, no exception.

Congratulations! The wine is terrific by the way (it is one of my favorites in the winery's current lineup.) Now if I can just find a bottle up here in Northern Humboldt! Jim

@ Jim - I am pretty sure it is at Libation in Arcata. Also, Arcata coop.

@ Howie - 70 Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. All Humboldt grapes. I will have to check to be 100% sure, but I think the dosage is .6%.

I picked some up at the Coop in Eureka today. Thanks for the tip. It will be our 31st wedding anniversary wine on Tuesday. Jim
