Nouvelle Vague???

by TomHill » Mon Jun 13, 2011 2:56 pm

See this on a number of Kracher wines. Gather this translates as "new wave"?? Anybody have an idea exactly what it means about this wine??

David has it.
The "Zwischen den Seen" wines are the traditionally styled dessert wines- big old vats (or maybe stainless). "Nouvelle Vague" is in barrique (mostly new I think).

Incidentally, zwischen den Seen means 'between the Toes.' I generally prefer these to the Nouvelle Vague (though the latter in Zweigelt form is interesting.)
