WTN: 2007 Dry Creek Cab.

I am not a big fan of Dry Creek Vineyards wines but have loved their late harvest Sauvignon Blanc. This wine has changed my mind. I just put it into a case purchase to fill it up and am glad I did. Deep purple in color with a nose and palate of sweet cherry and mulberry (maybe a touch of cassis) the balance was exquisite. Great acids balanced medium fruit for a quaffing experience that will hopefully be repeated soon if it is still available. I think this was appx. $15.

I just googled "Dry Creek Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon" and it's in current release.
I have a bottle of the '06, and a couple of bottles of single vineyard Cabs from Dry Creek Vineyards.
Reds from the '05 vintage in Dry Creek Valley are drinking really well now, and the '07s seem to be coming into full flavor.

That's funny, I bought a case of this yesterday having tried a bottle two weeks ago from a store near the Pa. line where I play golf. It's a nice, go to cab, better than the 07 Martini imo, which I thought was a good QPR. It has some attractive tar and bitter notes that I find appealing.
