Stone Wolf Winery

Lindsay Del Rio Vineyards cabernet sauvignon 2005 Rogue River Valley $25 bought 3 bottles.
Deep garnet. Soft cassis nose with plumy notes. Delightful midpalate of purple plums and black raspberry, firm but fine tannins, and balancing acidity. Nice medium to long finish. Medium-bodied wine that strikes me as a good food wine.

Penner-Ash

2007 Oregon syrah with 2% vigonier 14.5% abv $32 bought 1 bottle
Light ruby. Spicy-fruity nose. Midpalate well balanced mix of dark fruit, acidity and tannins. Medium to long finish. Nice wine.

Carlton Cellars

Dolcetto 2009 13% abv
Medium ruby. Funky nose of earthy wood, like woody debris on the forest floor. Midpalate has savory umami taste with dark fruit and fresh acidity and cedar notes. Decent medium finish.

Redhawk Winery

Redhawk red 2008 68% merlot, 21% Cab sauv, 11% syrah.
Ruby. Light cassis nose with some black raspberry. Nice soft midpalate with good acidity, redfruit, and green gage plum notes. Medium acidic fruit finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 13.7% abv

Garnet. Nice cassis and purple plum nose. Fruity midpalate with red raspberries and black cherries tickling the tongue. Medium to long finish of red fruit followed by juicy acidity.

Tempranillo 2009 13.9% abv
Clear ruby. Light nose of oak red fruit. Midpalate of solid tannins, tingly acidity, and light cherries. Medium finish of nice acidity and red fruit.
