1990 Matanzas Creek Merlot
A bonus gift from the Bob Ross Jeebus, this was opened without significant expectations, and exceeded to say the least. It still had notable dark cherry fruit, finely balanced, and completely resolved. Overall it lived up to its age old reputaton, where back in the day Matanzas Creek was a "cult" favorite.

I was about to say, nice, Dave, but then I noticed you aren't Dave. So....wine sounds nice, Dick.

Except it was actually David, who forgot to log his father out before posting from Dad's laptop.

That makes sense. I was about to remark that I didn't realize that your dad made the jeebus, too, David.

And that is what I thought, but didn't want to assume....
