WTN: Bollinger Special Cuvee NV, Baudry Rose

As for Bollinger Special Cuvee NV what can i say other than that it is the most consistently excellent grande marque NV on the market. Always at a high level, with deep fruit, a toastiness and subtle oxidative elements, it drinks well on its own and compliments food at a very high level.

The 2010 Baudry Rose (Loire) is an amazing drink on a hot, early summer day. Tart strawberry and cherry over a liquid mineral base is just what the doctor ordered after a hard day on the golf driving range!

Agreed, without having waited for any hot, early summer days to break into that.
