2008 Dönnhoff Riesling "Estate" (Nahe)
nose: white peaches, minerals, a modest dose of petrol
palate: slightly off-dry, bracingly acidic, fairly intense fruit
There may very well be better QbAs on the market than Dönnhoff's, but if so I've yet to taste them. Really great with the moo ping and pad makuer pork in our dinner.

* Entirely coincidentally, Jean gave me Terry Theise's book as a present right before dinner.
p.s. When removing this wine from Cellartracker, I noted that the Wiki on Dönnhoff references David Bueker, though they seem to have consulted Joe Dressner for the spelling of his family name
