Sardinian Carragnano on bush vines.

Some cork intrusion (surprising because it had been stored somewhat cool)

This was pretty yummy to me...I've had good luck with Sardinian Caragnano!

Nose of herbs and plum and earth-very savory nose.

On the palate, I would describe this wine as very "warm"...not hot in a too-much-alcohol way, just very smooth and comfortable and soft and....warm. Delicious. Palate showed red plum, EARTH, that somewhat aggressive herbal note I've tasted in other Carignans-but mellowed out here by bottle age. Main complaint: needed more acidity, and the finish was a bit short. Still, I really enjoyed this wine...if I remember correctly it was well under $20 and worth every penny.

Just picked up an `10 for under $20 Cdn. Some good notes on CT I see.
