South Eastern Australia
De Bortoli

Bright cherry red in the glass.

Tangy, spicy, raspberry on the nose.

Nedium weight, bright, currants, raspberry, cherry, very tangy acidity bordering on tart, smoky, red licorice, a bit of an earthy bite.

Tangy, mouthwatering, spicy, cherry on the finish.

With time the wine became quite tart, which was a pity since it started out so good.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).
