You do know that auslese used to taste like this don't you? The balance is impeccable, the fruit is balanced on a knife edge of sweetness and acidity, and the wine glides across the palate like a silk covered knife. Just what the imbiber ordered. Come on May 21st!

It's very youthful, but also rather showy. I would pretty much say that it shows close to zero development so far.
