Kenwood "Jack London" Cab vertical purchase

I attended a February wine tasting event at our local Harford County Community College. One of the reps of Kenwood was offering the 1997, 1998 and 1999 vertical of their Jack London Cabernet from the winery for $144 which included tax and shipping. I finally picked it up yesterday having been phoned that it arrived. I've not seen this before and it's pretty cool with the wooden box and clear, sliding lid. Now I can't wait to sample sometime in the near future.

I'll be very curious to hear about these! I used to drink the Jack London bottling regularly back in the '90's, but haven't had any since around 2000. I think the last bottle I had was one from the mid 80's that we opened on New Year's Eve of 2000 - it was very good.

Since I'm counting six bottles in the photo, I figure you got two of each vintage.

Not bad at $24 a bottle for those vintages.

They look like mummies.
