Colchagua Valley
Dark cherry red in the glass.
Spicy on the nose.
Medium weight, smoky, juicy cherry, lip smacking, spicy, good acidity, nice mouthfeel, peppery, roasted, with an earthy-bitter bite and some heat toward the end.
Earthy-bitter streak and alcohol burn on the finish.
The wine started out pretty good, but then the alcohol burn and bitter streak took over. Not nice.
Purchased on sale at $10.40 (Canadian).
