2008 Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet
Fresh, pale pear and lemony fruit, smoky and creamy elements, minerals and a minty topnote combining on a medium weight frame with an incredibly polished, satiny texture. Very pure, refreshing and all too easy to drink. Lovely wine, and shockingly enough I didn't once think about whether I'd rather be drinking a Riesling during the bottle...
