Another enjoyable "old world" style Merlot from Bell Winery in Yountville. Big hit of cherry and plum fruit with earthy/savory/leather and tobacco notes. Medium mouth feel...alcohol and oak are not obtrusive. May be better in a year or two? A very nice Bordeauxesque merlot. Only $20 at the winery!
