I recenly picked up a couple of bottles of the Ch. Monestier La Tour "Emily" 2005 and was told it was a second label from an excellent producer. Does anyone know more about this wine and its drinkability?

Jim, note that it's Bergerac (from the Dordogne region) , not Bordeaux. Though Bergerac uses same varieties.
