Pulled this simple Savoie red wine out for a quick sip with friends last night. Very pleasant...reminded me quite a lot of a lesser Gamay. Sour red plum, which deepned over the evening into purple plum and earth. Definitely some peppery and "mineral" notes. Good acidity...quite refreshing. A great pizza wine? Not profound or anything like that, just a dry, minerally, peppery red wine.

Under a Nomacork, so not an ager. No signs of decline, though.
