Or, vloggers, a word I didn't know until I watched this. It takes some nice shots at some famous, and some infamous, internet wine personalities, too.

Frankly, I found the guy doing the "viral video film school" every bit as annoying as the Zucchini guy, and that's saying something. Condescension? Pot, meet kettle.

There was some truthiness there, but I concur with Mr. Lipton.

I know I must be missing a powerful amount of context, but they guy who brings his own glasses to restaurants. WTF?

Agree. Got through about a minute and a half of it and turned it off.

From Adam Gopnik's "Through A Glass Darkly," which appeared in the New Yorker back in 2004. Substitute "talking in front of a camera" for writing, and "video" for book:

"Being an expert on wine and writing about it is what the English call 'naff,' embarrassing and uncool, while being a non-expert on wine and writing about it anyway sounds merely boozy. No subject produces a literature so anxious, expressed not so much in its grandiosity as in its defensive jokiness and regular-guydom. A book on wine will always begin with the assurance that it is not like all those other books on wine, even though all those other books on wine begin by saying that they’re not like those other books on wine, either."
