I recently bought a few bottles of the 2008 Moss Wood Amy's Cabernet blend recently due to a great retailers write-up and maybe a good price but know nothing of the producer. Has anyone out there tried this wine and how approachable is it now? It is a blend of 71%CS,11%PV,11%Malbec and 7% Merlot. From what little I've read, Moss Wood is a very highly regarded winery is Australia
This used to go under the Moss Wood 'Glenmore' label. A little under half the price of the main wine last time I noticed. Only tasted once but the wine was a little over-warm to pass any usable judgement.
