I have so got to visit Clos Pepe when I get to finally take that trip up the central coast this fall. It was already the top of my list of visits to schedule but articles like this just keep making that point.

Hi Brian,

As someone who has visited Clos Pepe, I can tell you it is definitely worth the time to visit. Wes is just as engaging in person as he is in this article. His descripitons are interesting and knowledgeable. Plus, his tasting is really well done. He has food with his wines and will let you taste some delcious chardonnays, pinots and estate grown olive oil. If you like pungent olive oils, his are really nice. Plus, when we visited he gave us a free bottle of pinot rose. Can't guarantee he will always do that, but he did do it for everyone who visited with our group.
