Sommelier Class

I've just signed up for the Court of Master Sommeliers 2-day intro class. I am reading like crazy (Wine Bible, Complete Wine Course, etc.). Any resources or secrets that anyone would care to recommend?

Hi Jon,
When I did this a few years ago the set text was Sales and Service for the Wine Professional by Bryan K Julian. But most of what you will be examined on will be covered in the course.
Of course MS covers spirits and cocktails as well as wine and there will be some questions on those subjects in the exam. But most of it is wine.
Cheers,
Sue

Thank you, Sue. Your recommendation will be the next book I read.

They also have you taste about 20 wines as they show you how to break them down to figure out what the wine is. It was very interesting.

This is a good one to read too because they go over wine service which the wine bible will not but it is only an introduction.
