An alert for those in the DC area

Jacques Lardiere of Maison Louis Jadot will be presenting wines at Bassin's (Macarthur Beverages) Tuesday, March 29, from 5-7 PM. A number of 2009 reds and whites will be available as well as tastings of some from 2005 and 2006 and the 2009 Moulin a Vent from Chateau des Jacques. Monsieur Lardiere is retiring as technical director at Louis Jadot later this year. I have met him on two occasions in the Triangle area and he is a very enthusiastic speaker about wines. The notice says these are half bottles and in limited supply so get there early to be assured of tasting the full lineup (might have to skip out of work early.)
