WTN: 2008 Leese-Fitch California Pinot Noir

This is vinted and bottled by The Other Guys, Napa, CA, part of the Don Sebastiani family of companies. Plug type closure. Labeled as 13.5% alcohol by volume. Dark purple color. Dark fruit aromas. Slight tartness on the palate with a hint of grapeyness (grapiness?) (Not sure of spelling) Medium body and long finish. A reasonably-priced Pinot Noir (often $9.50 to $13) for everyday meals as opposed to special occasions. I had it with spicy pork-filled tortelloni. It is probably a better match for something like hamburgers or beef than for chicken or salmon. Not exciting but adequate. Held up well over 3 or 4 days. I would purchase again.
