Another fine Pinot Gris from Oregon was the Four Graces 2009 located in Dundee Hills. Consumed with crab cakes and cole slaw tonight, this wine hit my sweet spot with much better acidity (that prickly kind) than previous years, pale straw color, and excellent spicey pear flavors with %14.4 abv. I'll look for more of this.

Good choice. We had a bottle that I bought, stashed in the cellar and forgot ever having brought home. So much time had passed that I couldn't remember who reccomended it. So all in all a surprise, and a much nicer one than expected. A benchmark style of Oregon pinot.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
