2004 Clos Les Lunelles (France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Côtes de Castillon)
Rather stern for a wine that is supposed to be a bit of a fruit bomb. Perhaps it's closed down, but there's not a whole lot of fruit to tame the tannins. Time is in order here - not to mention a bit of faith.

I think of Clos Les Lunelles as modern but not a fruit bomb. I really don't put it into the "ultra-modern" camp, not relative to Bordeaux these days.

I've had the 2004 a few times in the past, but not in several years. In my experience it's dense, dark, and a bit rough around the edges. I think the '04 vintage on the right bank is a bit stiff, even more so than the '04 left bank.
