Opened last night to share a glass with my son. Generally I don't drink a lot of Bordeaux, but I always enjoy them and this was no exception. 12.5% abv. Deep, dark red, with still a hint of purple on the edges. A bit shy on the nose, but what was there was pleasant with hints of tobacco and cedar. Generous and filling in the mouth, soft on acidity, but adequate tannin to balance and leave a medium-long finish. My guess is that this could improve over the next several years. Very pleasant and, if I recall correctly, I believe I paid less than $20. If I were into cellaring Bordeaux, I would consider this.
