Hunter Valley

Unusually deep yellow in the glass.

Vanilla on the nose.

Medium weight, tangy, lemon, green apple, hints of pear and orange, good acidity, caramel, vanilla, peppery, rather juicy, toasty, refreshing, with a rather lean structure.

With time, the oak influence becomes a bit over bearing.

Mouthwatering finish.

A strange bottle, but I did enjoy this over a previous one.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).
