WTN: Goats Do Roam In Villages Shiraz/Pinotage 2007

WO Coastal Region
Fairview

A blend of Shiraz (90 per cent), Pinotage (6.5 per cent) and Mourvèdre.

Dense dark purple in the glass.

Creamy, chocolate, mild brett, smoky and very rich on the nose.

Quite weighty in the mouth, black cherry, plummy, blackberries, bitter dark chocolate, spicy, smoky, tangy acidity, medicinal/band-aid notes, juicy, quite rich.

Mouthwatering finish.

A delicious wine.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian) and very good QPR.
