Mary Taylor from Langdon Shiverick Imports was at CSW last night to show a few of their wines:

Richard 2009 Bergerac Sec ($11.99) - CSW's website says its a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, Mary spoke of the wine as an unusual take on Sauvignon Blanc, citrus aromas with a strong streak of salinity, interesting wine at a very affordable price

Rijckaert, Regine & Jean 2007 Cotes du Jura Savagnin Les Sarres ($24.99) - crisp minerality and citrus, nice wine

Les Chais du Vieux Bourg 2007 Cotes du Jura Poulsard ($26.99) - light bodied raspberry and cherry fruit framed with tangy acidity, tasty

Burgaud 2009 Beaujplias-Villages Chateau de Thulon ($13.99) - happy gamay juice, some tart dark fruit with cherries, nothing complex here, just fun to drink

Richard 2009 Rouge ($11.99) - Mary said this was a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and made with no added sulfites, nice fresh fruit, very good price for a Bordeaux blend
