My second bottle of this Bordeaux. My previous bottle at MoCool was much better but that may be due to my better nose at the time. Tonight my nose was impaired but still there was very nice sweet and a bit of sour cherries and my wife thought meat. The tannins were quite smooth and a bit gritty. Color was black with a bit of purple at the rim and lots of sediment. Not a great or even good QPR but I'm learning. Drink up if you got em.

I doubt this wine is anywhere close to fading. Uninteresting is a possibility though. The 2001 has never been much other than blatantly obvious.
