WTN: Brézème

2006 Éric Texier Côtes du Rhône-Brézème (France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône-Brézème)
I rarely describe a red wine as racy and mean it as a compliment, but that's is exactly what I will do for the '06 Brézème. It has ample fruit for its structure, yet this wine remains all about the acidity. It wakens a sleepy palate. Very good and very good QPR.

Sounds good. Now just have to wait for the '06 Brézème VV to come into its own. I only have two bottles and don't plan on testing any time soon.

Nice. I love that acid-driven freshness all of Eric's wines seem to have.
