Kofererhof Kerner 2009

Here's a great, aromatic white wine from Northern Italy (Alto Adige) that sings with or without food. Pale yellow with a greenish tinge; explosive nose: a melange of pine, mango-guava, Key-limes, and a hint of musk; medium to full-bodied, but really taut, fresh, with a minerally flavor (completely dry) & wiry/zingy acidity that cleans the tongue and carries the apple, hint of honey flavors into a long, long finish...round, but crisp!

Kofererhof makes a lovely Pinot Grigio as well. I am a fan of white wine from that region.
