Rhone Rangers 2011

by TomHill » Thu Feb 17, 2011 11:56 am

Just noticed they've put up a special weekend pass at $140 for all three seminars plus GrandTasting on the RR site:
RhoneRangersSF2011

Alas, I'd already bought my 3 seminar tickees.
They've not yet announced the participants/wineries in the Seminars. That I understand is eminent.
And not yet posted a list of wineries pouring at the GrandTasting. Probably not till mid-March on that one.
Anyway, I'll be there. Look for the TomCruise look-alike carrying a bright red spitoon.

WineSeminars: Rhone Rangers 2011

by TomHill » Sat Feb 19, 2011 5:42 pm

From LarrySchaffer:

The list of seminar speakers has been finalized (not put up on website yet) and here they are (Jon Bonne and Patrick Comiskey will be moderators):

Green Rangers Seminar
AmByth Estate
Bonny Doon Vineyard
J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines
Landmark
Montemaggiore
Qupe
Terre Rouge

Mourvedre
CORE
David Girard
Folin Cellars
Kenneth Volk Vineyards
Quivira Vineyards & Winery
Tablas Creek Vineyard
Tercero Wines

Wild Wines
Big Basin Vineyards
Caliza Winery
Clos Saron
Katin
Pax Mahle Wines
Stolpman Vineyards
Tarara Winery
Terry Hoage Vineyards

This last seminar will be fun - Stolpman will be pouring their syrah from a section of the vineyard that they planted at 6000 vines per acre (!); Pax will be pouring Agharta; and more.

Cheers!
