Wow. This is all about purity. Starts out a little reticent at first, but with an hour of air and a roast chicken accompanying, it opens to show a beautiful floral and gently spicy perfume leading into a palate full of fresh, pure Syrah fruit. There's remarkable finesse here, a sense of real lightness and wonderful acidity that keeps it very refreshing and food-friendly. Wonderful wine, and I am glad to have more. Thank you Eric!

Interesting. I had a sort of a reverse experience. It started off very expressive and then the structure came on with more air to shut down. Not tight enough to be a poster child for Shut Down, but it was there nonetheless. I don't plan to open it again soon, but then again when faced with limited space and tradeoffs, this does provide some pleasure.

This is my whole business model

Salil,

Where did you get yours if I may? In Connecticut or from elsewhere?

Cheers

Bought it from Chambers St. Wines. (Got some of the 09 St. Julien en St. Alban as well, I am looking forward to trying it!)

Same place I got mine (Chambers), though some of Eric's wines are now making their way into central Massachusetts (well west of Boston).
