W&SMag: Comiskey On Cool-Climate Syrah

by TomHill » Wed Feb 09, 2011 10:56 am

The latest issue of W&S magazine is one of the best yet. PatrickComiskey has a particularly good article on Sonoma/Cool-Climate Syrah. Available at:
W&S:Comiskey_SonomaSyrah

or:

Comiskey_CoolClimateSyrah

Lot of familiar faces in it: Pax, Wells, Duncan, Nathan.
There is also a very good article on Cornas wines as well, but don't know if it's got a link or not.
This is one of the best W&S issues yet. People who declare print wine journalism as dead in this era of the InterNet...they're dead wrong.
It is only in print journalism that you can find an article this complete and detailed, not out on the InterNet w/ their 5-minute sound/print/screen-bites.

Thanks Tom. I keep meaning to subscribe to W&S. Perhaps this will prompt me to do so.
