WTN: Russian Hill PN '02 w/ osso bucco

by John Treder » Wed Feb 09, 2011 1:29 am

I made a tasty osso bucco this evening, with polenta, and opened my other bottle of Russian Hill PN, Meredith Vineyard (Sonoma Coast) '02.
The osso bucco was as good as it looked, and the PN was a beautiful match. What a delicious glass of wine! Made to order for the osso bucco. Slightly tart entry, then luscious length with all kinds of summer fruit. I'll have to go back.
I opened the first one 18 months ago and liked it, too. 8)
