Oliverhill Winery, Mclaren Vale 2004 Jimmy Section Shiraz
Dark fruit on the nose- Blackberry, plum, blueberry with faint florals. This continues to the palate- also introducing a big, jammy, juicy mouthfeel, medium tannin, with notes of cocoa, sweet spice (allspice, cinnamon) , and a hint of white pepper. Enough acitity to produce an elegant balance for this big "Aussie". The finish is medum long, but luscious-- no alcohol burn throughout, very well produced. Great with grilled Filet Mignon.
