I'm going to a wine dinner at Vin Rouge in Durham this evening and will be meeting some winemakers at one or two Raleigh wineshops on Saturday for free tastings of their wines. Will report back next week. (I'm skipping the auction which has items way beyond my budget such as a table for eight at a Las Vegas restaurant with country music stars, a collection of magnums from female winemakers, a dinner for eight with Kosta Browne wines and a Raleigh-area chef, etc.)
