Had this last night w/ dinner:
1. Sineann SauvBlanc Marlborough/NZ (13.5%) TeWhareRa/Renwick/NZ 2010: Light yellow color; very strong grapefruity/gooseberry/citric very spicy/perfumed classic NZ SB nose; fairly tart very juicy/gooseberry/grapefruity/spicy faitly lush/ripe flavor; med.long tart/lush strong citric/gooseberry/grapefruity quite spicy finish; a classic NZ SB w/ more spice and lushness than most; a lovely SB.

A wee BP:
1. This was gifted to me at dinner last Sat by PeterRosback/winemaker/owner. In the springtime, he goes down for crush in NZ to make this SB, imports it & btls it under his own label. I find NZ SB's a bit one-dimensional and many have a sameness to them. This had classic NZ SB character, but had a rich/lush and ratherr spicy character that I don't usually find in those wines. Think the wine sells for about $18.00
