One third each grenache, syrah and mourvedre. Beautiful light purple color, with a slight orange tinge at the rim. Aroma of red fruit in compote, smoke and a little horsesweat. Viscous, with powerful black cherry, licorice, roasted meat and earth. More tannic and less forgiving than the Cuvee des Galets from the same producer. Excellent grip and solid structure. 14.5% abv. Oak is imperceptible. Better than some more expensive CdP. It will improve with two to three years of cellaring. Very, very good.
