14% alcohol by volume. From a 375 ml. bottle. Label notes say the winery has full control of the vinification from grape to the bottle. Handpicked grapes. Aged in oak barrels for 10 mos. Purchased from Burgundy Wine Company.
Pale and transparent in the glass. Some vanillin, lightly buttery, nice aftertaste. Shared with some others at my table during Open That Bottle Night at St. Jacques Restaurant in Raleigh and they seemed to like it also. Outshines most Cal Chard and lingered pleasantly on the palate. (A couple CellarTracker notes mention almond flavor and it retrospect I think that is a good added descriptor for this wine.)
