Dominio IV Syrah ColumbiaVlly (Klipsun & The Pines vnyds; 14.1%) P&B by Dominio/Carlton/OR 2002: Very dark color w/ slight browning; very strong earthy/coffee slight Rhonish/roasted toasty/pungent/smokey/oak strong blueberry/Syrah/licorice slight reduced/road tar/pungent/burnt rubber rather complex nose; fairly tart strong smokey/pungent/licorice strong blueberry/Syrah bit coffee/roasted/reduced rich slightly tannic complex flavor; very long bit reduced/licorice/pungent/tarry strong blueberry/Syrah/licorice slight coffee/mocha/roasted/Rhonish bit tannic fairly complex finish; still can use a yr or two; quite an interesting Syrah in a good place right now.
