Met winemaker Sara Goretti at a wine dinner this fall. This was poured with rabbit pasta course. At her recommendation, this should be consumed within 2 yrs of vintage date.
Simple but delightful. Dusty cherries and red flowers on the nose; cherry, red plum and earth on the palate. Balanced acidity and smooth tannin. Good pasta or pizza wine. Umbria; 13.5% abv; unoaked.
