Spicy, red licorice, vanilla, currants on the nose.

Medium weight, cherry, currants, raspberry, smoky, tangy acidity, floral, red licorice, cinnamon.

Rich cherry and cinnamon on the finish.

A nice little wine.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).

Just cracked my second bottle of the `09. Agree with your notes Bruce but mine is a tad more plummy in color. Planning on roast duck!
