I recently bought a few bottles of the 2007 Calistoga Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon for $20 per and that was said to be less than half price which is in error according to their website. Also said to need cellar time or decant time. Anyone out there have any experience with this producer?

I had one bottle (maybe the 2002?) a few years ago, thought it a nice enough mid-bodied CS- think Beringer's KV type. But salesman was not being accurate/honest about price- CT lists average value of 2007 as $18, and WSearcher has it from $13 (
http://www.calvertwoodley.com/w5819077bo ) to $28 (winery).

Jim,
Chalk it up to the fact that this guy used to be a used car salesman?

Hey Guys, if something seems too cheap to be true it probably isn't.

Lou,
Do you know Ridgeline merlot and cabernet? I picked up a case of the merlot (and I don't like merlot) for $120 and so far loved them all. It sells for $30-40 and I paid $10, so sometimes there really is a Santa Claus.

Bob, due to the economy there are deals to be had because people can't move their inventories. If you know what the original price was meant to be determines if the deal is real or hype.
